NEOGIA, a medical technology Digital Health company specializing in Artificial Intelligence, Big Data, and the development of medical devices announced the appointment of John D Rogers, MD, MPH as Executive Director, Medical and Scientific Affairs. Dr. Rogers is a board-certified neurologist who brings exceptional international healthcare, pharmaceutical and medical device experience to NEOGIA. He joins the company from Galderma and Nestlé Skin Health, where he worked as the Global Head of Medical Affairs.

Together with NEOGIA’s Chief Medical Officer, Dr Ismael Nujurally, Dr Rogers will provide medical leadership to the Directors’ team of NEOGIA. He will oversee the Medical Affairs strategy, and serve as the key interface with academic and medical society partners, medical experts and oversee NEOGIA’s clinical research activities, publications, and medical writing.

Regarded by his peers as an accomplished physician, educator, and innovative pharmaceutical leader, Dr Rogers joined Allergan in 2001 to establish and lead their Asia-Pacific Medical Affairs team. In 2014 he moved to Europe and joined Galderma Nestlé Skin Health to lead the Aesthetics Global Medical Affairs team. Earlier in his career, he held positions at both Columbia-Presbyterian Medical Center and Beth Israel Medical Center in New York City. Dr Rogers earned an MD degree and Master in Public Health degree from Emory University School of Medicine in Atlanta, GA, USA and completed his medical training at the University of Pittsburgh in Pennsylvania and Columbia University in New York, USA.
